Recently, the founding conference of the Asian Agricultural Science and Education Innovation Alliance (hereinafter referred to as the Alliance) and the Academic conference of the Asian Agricultural Research Center (hereinafter referred to as the Conference) were successfully held in Sanya, Hainan.

Launched at the initiative of Nanjing Agricultural University, thanks to the positive response of the cooperation network of Asian Agricultural Research Center, the Alliance is a non-governmental, non-profit, open and international multilateral cooperation platform jointly established by agricultural universities and scientific research institutions in Asian countries and regions. 52 domestic and foreign universities and research institutions joined the alliance as the first batch of member units.

The Alliance aims to cultivate international cooperation talents in the agricultural field rooted in Asia's multicultural environment, jointly respond to agricultural challenges in Asia and the world and support the sustainable development of agriculture in Asia and the world by strengthening exchanges and cooperation between Asian agricultural universities and scientific research institutions in Agricultural education, research and promotion.

During the conference, the Asian Agricultural Research Center held a signing ceremony for a memorandum of cooperation with four newly added universities in Thailand, Bangladesh, and the Philippines. More than 200 international experts from 13 countries and regions, as well as representatives from domestic agricultural universities, engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanges on "exploring the green and sustainable development of Asian agriculture in the new era and exploring new paths for scientific research and education in the Asian region".
